Perspective Perceptive Perception
I have lost all hope
of ever understanding
what it’s like out there.
I will never know
what it’s like to be outside
looking at myself.
The way you see me,
the way everyone sees me,
is beyond my reach.
If you wouldn’t mind,
Could you tell me who I am,
or who I appear to be?
Self Determined
My life lies somewhere between fate and self-determination.
The boundaries shift from day to day
and leave me restless, beleaguered,
and desperate for continuity.
Continuity resides in accepting that my life lies somewhere between fate and self-determination.
The constance of incontinuity comforts me.
The Universe
As a youth I often ruminated on WHERE the universe is located.
I found that the whole thing, instead, is lodged somewhere inside my head.
You see, ALL my knowledge of time and tide,
rules and regulations by which I abide,
Religion and Philosophy,
have ALL been told or shown to me.
